Fussy...

so we went to nana and pops on friday and went out to dinner at manuel's(my favorite place). our little princess is learning how to dip items in ketchup, marinara, queso, ect...and this is how it turned out. she was crazy when you tried to take her plate from her, not to mention she was incredibly fussy anyways. i felt sorry for everone in the restaurant and was extremely stressed out about the situation. here is a shot below of how her dipping turned out...

Venting...

I have to vent for a moment...i am at work right now and i want to go over a few things with all of you...

  1. Don't bring your child to the ER with fever for 3 hours. give them medicine consistently and wait for a symptom to come...if the fever persist throught the medicine, maybe take them to the ER...but wait 24 hours...unless it's 105 RECTALLY. i don't want to torture your child for no reason, unless there is a reason your child can't have a fever.
  2. Don't come to the ER for back pain for a month...go to your own doctor...that's not an emergency.
  3. Don't stick baby wipes in your vagina in leiu of a tampon and have sex thinking it will fall out...then wait two days so the smell is so bad that i gag.
  4. Don't call 911 cause your baby swallowed a penny an hour ago and is eating and drinking just fine. your mama may need that ambulance if she's having a heart attack.
  5. Don't drink and drive.
  6. Don't punch someone in the mouth with a closed fist and hit there teeth...that's a surgical emergency.
  7. Don't come into the ER because your toenails are so long they are curling up and expect me to trim them.
  8. Don't come to the ER for a toothache unless your face is the size of an orange.

that's all for now...i have to go back and see some idiot that jumped on her boyfriends moving car because she didn't want him to leave...idiots...job security...

i hope everyon has had a nice weekend.

Five Minutes With our Friend LaNae

So it's hard to tell from the photo but she has a bow and a bling bling binkie...LaNae, Vaune, Kim, and Molly came up to houston yesterday for a day of shopping and eating...five minutes after being with LaNae she had both these new things...as most of you know, Addison won't wear a bow at all, she sweeps her hair daily to make sure i haven't tricked her into one. and as for the binkie, the only one we have been able to get her to take is the one from the hospital. we've been trying to ween her off altogether but it is proving alittle difficult.
i just thought it was funny that it only took a short amount of time being with the princess to get addison to take both...hope everyone has a great weekend.

For The DADDY'S on there special day(LATE)

For all the dad's out there, Happy Father's Day, a little late...Ive been waiting for these pictures to come across my e-mail because i forgot my camera...now that they have arrived I can officially tell you that I have the best husband in the world. He is an amazing father to Addison. She is extremely blessed to have someone in her life like you that cares about her and spends as much time with her as you do. When he is not working, his life revolves around family and this precious little girl of ours. He is there when she cries, when she's sick, when she's happy, for every doctor's appointment, and everything in between. He doesn't miss anything. For that, I thank you Robert for being the best husband and father. I sure couldn't do it without you. Thank you for not working 80 hours a week so we can raise our daughter at home. I love you so much.

And for the best father anyone could ask for, he has always been there to support me in every step of life, from softball(he didn't miss a single game of high school or college, even when we traveled across the country), from supporting me when i wasn't making any money so i could get experience to get into PA school, through PA school and now just in life. Thank you dad, I love you.

And to Robert's stepdad, Greg, thank you for welcoming us into your family. You treat Addison as if she was your own flesh and blood. You make us laugh with your awesome one liners and for all those free tickets to the games. I've only been part of your life for a short time but Addison is lucky to have you. She loves you and so do we.

Daddy Daughter time--hilarious

So I get home from my long day of work last night at midnight and Robert had stayed awake for me...I know so sweet. But he also had some interesting pictures for me to look at when I arrived. Seems as though miss Addison got into my new bra I had bought a couple of days ago and thought it was a little fun to play in...this is priceless. I laughed so hard I cried...

Funny work story...

So I had to work last night and with the really sick people no less...enjoy this. I had a 60 little lady that came in with three days of weakness, a ton of medical problems so I was asking her about them when she told me how absolutely beautiful I was...I just started laughing, so hard I had to walk out of the room because she had just got done telling me that she was completely blind in her right eye and couldn't see out of her left because she didn't have her glasses...enjoy.

Busy Weekend

This weekend was a busy one, we started off Friday night at the Astros game, without Addison...thanks Heather for watching her. That was a disaster the time before as you all know. Then Saturday morning we loaded up the fam to go to Brenham for Grasyn's baptism. We made a pitstop in the country to help nana and pops pick paint for the country house. It was so hot but we couldn't keep Addison in the house. She only wanted to be outside riding around in the mule or on the 4-wheeler. She was so cute and having a ball. When we left the country, we drove by the land we have considered buying with Pops...he knows way more about land than we do so we drove all over it and looked around...we'll see what happens. Then we went out to dinner and it was an early Sunday morning at church for the baptism. Grasyn did very well and the baptism was wonderful.
The first pic is our best attempt at a family photo always fails...if it's not Addison, it's one of us not looking...

This is one place we had to pry her away from...she could reach the keys and kept taking them out and putting them back in...I think this little one belongs in the country...

You can't tell by her face in this picture but this is all she wanted to do during our time in the country...she's ticked because we were stopping for a picture.
Here we are at the front of the church during the Baptism. Miss Grasyn talked alot during church...she wanted everyone to know she was there.

This was our best attempt at a picture of Addison and Grasyn together after the Baptism.

forgot the precious video

so our little one really loves the water, what little one doesn't. our friend dana was over the other day, it was hot, we were bored, addison was full of energy, so we tossed her in her new suit and threw her in the baby pool out back....mind you this was the first time considering she was born last summer and by the time she was able to hold her own head up and sit up alone, it was way to late to get her in the pool, so she really didn't know what to do with herself in there...dana and i got a kick out of watching her.
