pumpkin decorating

The past few nights have been more than beautiful around here so we have been spending a lot of time outdoors, the perfect time for addison to paint her pumpkins (thanks for the idea Adrienne, that a knife, even in our hands around someone so small was a terrible idea). We surely didn't know it would go over so well. She had a ball painting them, was furious when we took the paint away. it was more than precious watching her at work.

see the little speck on her pants, when she did it, she turned toward me and said "uh-oh" we just started dying laughing...how did she ever know that was a bad thing...

striking a pose

Look at the posture, she is focused on her pumpkin.

cute pics after church

party, party, party...

Seems like all we've been doing lately is going to party's and we are loving every minute of it. it has been so great seeing all of our friends, even if it is for a short amount of time. Yesterday was Avery's b-day party and Brayden's b-day party. They were 3 and 1 yrs old. All the kids are growing so fast, it's really hard for me to believe that we are all parents...seems like only yesterday we were driving around in the mouse jamming to the boom box on the floorboard of the car, jumping the railroad tracks, and just having fun times in the pastures of washington county. Now we all live, what feels like hours away from each other, and we only see each other on special occasions...at least we have those. I love each and every one of you and wish we could see each other more often.

Here are some pics from the parties from yesterday.

Addison being a big girl in the jumpy at Avery's party

Daddy joining her in the jumpy because she was scared alone...

I somehow didn't get any pics of the kids together, not even two of them...what was i thinking.

Dana carting her up to the top of the stairs to the big slide...

Not being so brave at Brayden's party...Dana playing with Addison, we couldn't keep her off the slide.

Pumpkin Patch

This morning we took off to the pumpkin patch down the road. Addison had a great time climbing on everything. It was incredibly busy but we got some good shots in around all the other kids...i can't imagine chasing more than one around after see her run wild...

Cowham housewarming

Our friends heather and kevin moved into a new house in magnolia a couple of months ago so they decided to throw a party so everyone could see the new digs and man is the house gorgeous. feels like you are in the country...great pick guys. the kids had a great time as you can see below.

little ones watching the big ones

Addison is ready to play ball, she already has some arm

Addison was drug around by a 3 year old that was at the party, we didn't know her but she wouldn't let her hand go...it was pretty funny

Sienna swinging by the water

Getting ready to party...

Heather and Sienna came over to play for a while before we went for a party last night...here are a couple of pics of the girls before we left.

on a whim

A couple of days ago, Addison woke up early and we didn't have anything to do so we loaded up in the car and went to see nana and pops, grasyn and brad. coty had to go out of town for the evening so we didn't get to see her. we had a great day with them. we went out to lunch, went out to the country to see the house and cows. then pops cooked hamburgers. the best part was playing with grasyn. she is crawling all over the place and brave as ever. she isn't afraid of anything. here are a couple of pictures of the two of them. it's pretty hard to get them both to look at the camera.

end of the day

This is what our living room looks like after Addison's day of fun...she used to get one or two toys out to play with. Now she stands at the toy box, grabs things and starts throwing them all over the room...talk about clean up...fun times.

pics of Grasyn...

Here are a few pics of grasyn, for those of you who know my precious niece, she is getting so big. coty hasn't had time to update her blog so i thought i would put up a few. She is 8 1/2 months old now and all over the place. enjoy.

long time...no post

It's been a long time since i've put a post on here, i've just been terribly busy trying to keep up with the everyday grind and the last thing on my mind is sitting in front of a computer when i get home. Let's rewind a week.

Robert is still doing great after his surgery on the 1st, he is on major blood thinners so he has to be pretty careful not to hurt himself. he is feeling better and less sore everyday. his legs and stomach look terrible, like he's been beaten or something, so many bruises.

We left for vegas last sunday and got home this past wednesday. i forgot my camera in a rush to leave the house so i have to wait on a couple of people to get me pics, i'll post a couple when i get them. we had a great time, didn't win a million or even break even but it was fun losing. there were 11 of us that went, but mainly robert, me, brad, coty, len and dana hung out. We went to a couple of cirque du soleil shows. The new one by Criss Angel called Believe was absolutely awful. the magic was terrible and the typical cirque performance wasn't very good. i was really disappointed because i thought it could have been awesome instead it was just dark and ominous. The next day we decided to get discounted tickets to see zumanity. it was great. quite sensual but the entire thing was really terrific. brad even liked it. think the boobies won him over.

It seemed the minute we got home, it was back to the grind, laundry, laundry and more laundry, Robert went right to work the next morning, then I worked the last three days which have kicked my tail. so here we are today and i'm finally relaxing a bit and catching up on sleep.

I don't have really any good pics to put up. Here are some from my parents (aka Nana and Pops) when they watched Addison while we were in vegas.

Dancing

I can't catch all her moves but i've been trying...and there are some good ones...i get out the camera and all dancing ceases...

Discovery Green

Addison and I drove Robert downtown today for something he had to do since he just got out of the hospital, After dropping him off, we went to Discovery Green. We had a good time, she enjoyed the freedom of running around like a wild woman...enjoy the pics.

Home at last...

Robert was released from the hospital yesterday...I didn't get a chance to post because I was exhausted and still had running to do picking up prescriptions and stuff. He 's doing great, he feels pretty good for the most part, just sore. He continues to amaze me with his strength in dealing with stuff like this. Keep praying for a smooth recovery.

in a room

here is the happy patient...still a little drugged but he's eaten a little food and feeling good. no pain...but he's forced to lay flat on his back until 1015 tonight...he's not very excited about that. we should get to go home tomorrow sometime and we'll hang out until we leave for VEGAS this sunday...hopefully he won't be too sore...

All finished

The doctor just came out and told me that all went well...can't see him for 30 or so more minutes...he had to do all vessels which was not ideal but can't change things now...all i care about is he had no complications...and lets hope that continues for the rest of this recovery...more later...thanks for all your prayers

0930 update

the nurse just called from the cath lab...she told me they were just getting started...what...he went in at 645, first case of the day...apparently it takes time to get into both veins in his legs...and they were starting the diagnostic phase...i won't get another update for another 2-3 hrs...keep praying...
