This year a group of us (all with small children) decided to sit on the side of the road and watch the parade. In the years past, we have all been in the parade on the fire trucks, throwing beads along the roadway and having a good time. We have a new kind of fun now watching their little faces light up as the floats and fire trucks go by throwing candy and beads. It was so much fun and such nice weather.
