Ellie's First Birthday

Happy first birthday to our baby girl...she is growing so fast and such a character. She can be so sweet one minute and turn on you the next. She has such a personality. I know I have said that before but she truly is one of a kind when it comes to that smile, laugh, head tilt, and let us not forget the "look" she is coming at you. We took her to her 12 month appt and her stats are:

weight: 20 lbs 4 oz 35%tile
height: 31 inches 45%tile
don't remember her head circumference but it was in the 85%tile
she got 4 shots and a finger stick for lead level

she has 6 teeth(one that comes and goes back in)
points at everything she wants.
has had a very difficult time weening off the bottle...very stressful for all but we are doing better everyday
still has her pacifier...we will work on that but we have to get past the bottle
drinks water and loves it
hates milk...:( but we keep trying.
loves string cheese, yogurt, and anything she puts in her mouth.

*update on her bladder infection. we went back to the pedi and all was clear but since her urine culture grew out e.coli(bad stuff) we have to go down to texas childrens and have some tests done on her kidneys and bladder. prayers would be great that all goes well on our visit. it's october 28...i'll keep ya posted on what happens.

Ellie had a great turnout for her birthday part and it was a lot of fun...i don't think i got a pic of everyone there, sorry about that. we love you all for coming and supporting ellie as she grows...thanks to those that came early to help set up (nana, pops, brad, coty, len and dana). Thanks to Dana for getting me set up with the cake lady and getting Ellie her very cute birthday outfit.
