Almost a week old...

Ellie is doing great...went to the doctor yesterday for another bili check and she dropped from 14 to 7 which was fantastic...we just needed to be trending downward to stay away from photo therapy but the little poop machine proved she didn't need that. She is only waking two times per night right now and we certainly hope it stays that way...she has put herself on mostly a 4 hour schedule...sometimes she wakes up a little earlier than 4 hours but who can complain.

Addison is proving to be a little difficult in this transition time. Even with Nana here to give her extra love and attention, she seems to want to be as defiant as she possibly can. She loves her sister and wants to hold her, feed her, burp her, and all the things that go along with having a baby but she refuses to do just about everything else. Definitely testing our patience. We are trying to help her as much as possible but she has also spent her time in timeout recently. Fits include "i don't want to", "no, no, no" with a lot of kicking and screaming...any suggestions on how to make this easier would be great. we have given gifts to her from her sister as suggested but this isn't helping the defiant attitude...it doesn't appear that she is jealous, just a lot of attitude...
