Since the hurricane, we have had a few extra people at the house because they don't have power..and still don't. i can't imagine going this long with no power. We were beginning to run out of food to eat and with nothing much open to eat at restaurants, we ventured to the grocery store. wow is all i have to say about it. it was really something out of a movie. there were lines to get in the store and lines to get food. they had limits on how much milk and bread you could buy. the store shelves were all empty, minimal of everything. even trashbags were gone. we (houston) are truly in crisis mode. i'll keep you guys posted...i'll take pictures if i have to go back.

I feel for you guys! We had to go to Houston yesterday and I made sure we got gas before we left Brenham and brought drinks and everything we would need. Thank goodness I did because we saw the lines of people waiting for everything (gas, food, etc.)
