We have been lost in the everyday or I have been lost in the everyday activities. The last thing I want to do these days is sit in front of the computer typing and uploading photos. Robert has somewhat fixed the slowness of the computer so I thought I would give it a shot...a lot has happened since my last update so hold onto your socks because this is gonna be a long one. cant believe i haven't updated in 6 weeks...
This outfit was a Christmas present and there haven't been many other winters on record around here that this would have gotten much wear but this year has been doozy of cold weather. On this day, it was absolutely beautiful out but just downright cold, Addison was determined to go out and play so we got Ellie all bundled up to go out and she fell right asleep while we were doing the same to Addison...to precious.
I came home from work really late one night and couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a pic of this as i walked in the door. Addison has a time out mat at mother's day out. For a while, she would throw something on the floor, tell her dolls that they were bad and had to go to timeout...here is the result.
Really big move...Addison is in her really big girl bed now, she is so long that she looked all squished in her toddler bed so we converted it to the full size version...she loves being in her big bed...we haven't gotten girly bedding for her just yet...this is what was on the bed in the other room...she gets to pick it out so it might be a while...so sweet.
I work in the ER in brenham on occasion so mom and dad get the kids from 12-12 on the days I'm there and Ellie was fussy and they couldn't get her to sleep one night and when i came home, this is what i found...i don't like co-sleeping with babies but this was too cute and it worked for a short time...after the shot, she was off to her own bed for the night...
Grasyn hasn't shown much interest in Ellie until just recently...she now wants to hold her a lot...Ellie just lights up around her sister and cousin, they make her smile.
Three peas in a pod...i sure do wonder what it will be like when they are older...it's kinda scary to think really...
On January 25th, our little Grasyn turned 2, not so little anymore. Time is going by so quickly and she is growing cuter by the day. She and Addison can get into some trouble together already.
blowing out her candle...
This is just after she turned 4 months, I got out the camera thinking she was going to turn over, didn't have and still hasn't but the doctor isn't too worried...they said she's a big girl and has a lot to move around...
4 month stats on Ellie:
14lbs 4 oz 75th percentile
28 inches long 9oth percentile
She has a flat spot on the side of her head, not too noticeable but the doc wants us to go see a head doctor about wearing a helmet...so we shall see, appt is March 2, I'll keep ya posted on what happens.
We had two parties to go to this day, Jan 30th. I've got no pics from Sienna's party because it was just too busy and I forgot to snap even one shot but I got it out during Gillian's party. They both turned 2 years old. Sienna's real birthday was Jan 8 and Gillian's was at the end of December...both really busy times of the year so they were postponed until the end of Jan...This face painting was in the works from when we arrived at the party, the clown was about to pack up by the time she agreed to get it done.
After the birthday parties, we went over to Mom's for a visit to find my Granny there...she has been having some falls at home alone lately so she stayed with mom until they could get her into the nursing home...she is so happy there, loves her roommate and watches wrestling every night...it was a good move for her. here she is with her great grand babies...
random shot of the girls.
Addison loves when Ellie sits next to sister
My 32nd birthday was Feb 12th. i thought the birthdays i had when i was younger were amazing but having Addison sing to me by far tops the list...loved it. Robert took me to a nice dinner at Morton's steakhouse downtown then we headed to the randy rogers concert...forgot my camera at that one too...it was a blast.
On Valentine's day we Baptised Ellie...it was absolutely beautiful to have done it at our church with Pastor Steve. He is a wonderful preacher and a joy to listen too...
These are Ellie's sponsors, Len Call, Dana Young, Heather Vogel, and Shawnaka Holland.
Ellie with both sets of grandparents, Papa, Grams, Nana and Pops
Every time Addison sees the camera, she wants a picture taken of her...it's pretty funny. and she is so cute, who could resist.
Last week, Ellie started sitting up on her own...she's doing a pretty good job for a while...then starts to get wobbly...but she's already getting better...and still not rolling over...
Ellie has been an eating champ...since getting the all clear to start spoon feeds at the 4 month check up, she has eaten carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and now green beans...this was after green beans this morning...she is not quit a fan yet but Addison kept making her laugh so i didn't get the yucky face pic like i wanted too.
