Behind the times...

I have been so bad at posting lately...i just haven't gotten around to downloading pictures off the camera so watch out when that happens...i'll likely have a million posts...

This Christmas was amazing, watching Addison tear into her gifts was so much fun. She was sick on Christmas Eve morning, which is when we opened our presents, and didn't want to get out of bed or come in to see the presents that Santa had left her. Robert had to convince her to come in the room and ultimately carried her in...she went to town but really wanted to know where Santa was...she was convinced he was hiding from her and told us that a few times. She wanted him to watch cartoons with her...it was really cute.

Ellie just hung out and took in the sights and sounds around her. Addison opened all her presents for her. Next year she should have a good time opening all her own presents. She is 3 months old now and just such a happy baby. She is a joy to be around and no matter how mad she is that you took the bottle out of her mouth to burp her, if you look at her, her face just turns to one big smile. She does have a bit of a temper, tick her off enough and it's hard to get her to calm back down...don't know where she gets that from...

Christmas Eve lunch was spent with Grams and Papa and there were more presents to be had along with some good ole chili...it was great to spend some time relaxing with family.

That afternoon, we loaded up and went to Brenham for Christmas with Nana and Pops, Brad, Coty and Grasyn...and even more presents were opened. We should have saved some from one of these parties because Addison doesn't quite get the concept that Christmas is over and wants more lights and presents.

We spent the night in Brenham and had the Hinze Christmas with my aunt, uncle and cousins. My grandma didn't want to leave the nursing home this year to join us so it was a little tough but we all had a good time hanging out and have decided that we are going to continue to get together every year despite grandma not wanting to join us...Addison and Grasyn got tutu's from my aunt...those pics and more to follow.

New Years Eve was pretty low key this year, we went to the neighbors who were having a party so when it was time for the kiddos to sleep, we strapped on the monitors and continued the evening listening for them...we got great reception so not to worry...they didn't even budge during all the fireworks outside our house.

New Years day, Coty and Grasyn came up to play for the day and she and addison had a great time playing outside and inside for that matter. we rounded off the evening with mexican food and baths for all the little children before we tucked them into bed...

and there you have the recap of the last couple of weeks.
