Halloween 2009

We didn't know if this Halloween was going to happen up until we put Addison in her costume this year. she was as sick as she has ever been over the last few days and was still running a fever in the afternoon. we dosed her with Motrin, had her take a nap and when she woke up...she was her old self again (it didn't hurt that Nana and pops had made a surprise visit and were there when she woke up) and she was off to the races. we put her bouncer up in the yard and she was jumping, then Dana came over and the two of them decorated a pumpkin together...we ate dinner and prepared for a night out...
This Halloween was very special because it was Robert's first one to trick or treat with us...he has been on shift with HFD for the last couple of years...so Addison had a ball with daddy and i think he had a really good time as well. this was the first Halloween that she had it down...walked right up to the doors and did everything right...and racked up on the candy i might add. teeth rot city...hopefully we can make it "disappear" quickly so we can get back to normal around here.
We had a great time with both the girls this year...Ellie slept right through it all. next year, look out...Ellie will be right in the mix with her sister...
