1 week rewind...

Last week we had a little scare with ellie. we were out and about and i went to change her diaper and there was blood mixed in with her bowel movement(gross to talk about I know). the mom in me was a panic, the PA in me was a panic...all the terrible things started to go through my head that could be wrong...the most common of those is a formula allergy but i'm a worse case scenario kind of girl...called the pediatrician and they wanted us to come in the same day. again, red flags started to go up and i tried to stay calm all day but it was hard...she was uncomfortable at times during the day and little more fussy than usual so i was just ready to know what they thought...
we didn't get to see our pedi but i really didn't care who we saw us as long as MD followed her name...and she was wonderful and answered all our questions. it was the milk allergy, which was a huge relief, so little ellie follows in mommy's footsteps at being high maintenance already...we are now on super pricey formula...well worth it considering the other things that could have been wrong...
