Crazy day...

We had a dinger today...Robert woke up around 730 this morning with stomach pain...he thought was his usual terrible pain that would go away. but by 1130, it was worse. he sent me a text telling me he was hurting. here' s the kicker, we've been dealing with belly pain going on 5 years with this guy and he' s been a trooper. He has a stomach doctor that couldn't figure it out so we have all been at a loss. she advised us that the next time the pain was bad to get straight to the ER for at CT scan of his belly...so off we went. He drank the nasty stuff and we waited...he started to feel better, but he was thinking, i already drank this crap, let's get the CT done. Sure as crap, he had appendicitis and went to emergency surgery this afternoon..



all is well, we are home and he is passed out in bed but i just can't believe it. dorothy (his mom) and my parents rushed up here to help me take care of addison. mom and dad too her home tonight so i can focus on taking care of my sick hubby.



dr turnquest did a fabulous job and he only has three tiny holes that didn't even need stitches...technology is amazing. the good news is, we think we have found the culprit for his five long years of pain...his appendix was backward and hard to see so the CT scans in the past have been negative and his pain has always been in a strange place...



so everyone please pray for swift and pain free recovery...and that his pain is officially gone.
